Attractions

From someone who really loves Anderson!
I grew up in this wonderful little southern town. It is a very special place to live where all the people still taketime to know and speak to and care about each other. I think it is the warmest place in the world. Everyone who is from there would gladly echo this statement. Although I have lived miles away for several years, Anderson Alabama is still the only place I have ever considered my home.
There is one school, K-9, where girls JR High Basketball is almost a religion. These little girls are dynamos. Generation after generation, they win the County Tournament almost every year since the 80's began. Every little girl in town dreams of making the cut of that winner team. I can tell you it is tough! (I was only a cheerleader.) That was 15 years ago. Now I plan to move back there soon to raise my children. (I have learned that there is more to life than basketball.) Thank you for listing my home town!!
