Athens Bible School is a private, K-12 school operated by members of the church of Christ. ABS is accredited by the Southern Association of Schools & Colleges and has been in continuous operation since 1943. ABS has excellent academic standards as evidenced by its students' performances standardized tests such as the PSAT, SAT, and ACT, and by the numbers of students who have been recognized in recent years as National Merit Finalists, Semi-Finalists, and Commended Students.
