We are home of the Coon Supper and the Friendly People

We are a farming and duck hunting community. They are our major cash inputs into the community. We have the Buckshot Duck Lodge right outside of town. We are only approximately 30 miles from Stuttgart, the rice and duck capital of the world. We have many other lodges and duck guiding operations based in this town. In Stuttgart there is an Agricultural Museum that shows the history of farming and duck hunting for Arkansas County. Gillett holds an annual Coon Supper to raise money for the high school football team. Our school mascot is the Wolves. Our colors are orange, black, and white. We are a small community that welcomes and smiles everyone including strangers.
