Peel location: in northwestern Arkansas near the Missouri border. Peel is north of Yellville, the county seat and about 49 miles from Springfield, Missouri. Nearby communities include Diamond City, Lead Hill, Bull Shoals and Oakland

Peel attractions:

There is a Vehicle ferry across the lake to shorten driving distance from Arkansas to Missouri. It is FREE and you may get out of your vehicle to take pictures or whatever. It is about a fifteen or twenty minute ride. Great scenery.

Very small population with a post office and volunteer fire department and a church or two but there are on the lake resorts all over plus park.
