The Parker Lions Club and Baptist Hospitals are sponsoring "Balloon Fest '98" on March 6, 7, & 8, 1998. It will consist of hot air balloon events at the Parker Airport, the annual People's Parade in Downtown Parker (Saturday at noon), the annual Health Fair (Saturday at Wallace Dome), a barbecue, street dance, and many other activities. One of the highlights of the People's Parade will be the US Marine Corps Band from 29 Palms, California.
