My father, James "Whimpy" Edgerton Chick attended Clearlake Union High School in the late '30's and lived in Soda Bay where his parents owned Chick's Resort. My father's older brother was George and his sister was Ruth. His father, for many years housed a large collection of Indian artifacts in the Lakeport museum until his death in March 1968. I still visit Clearlake and someday hope to retire there, I have many great memories of the lake. As a teen I worked in Clearlake Oaks and the City of Clearlake.
