Yo San University was founded in 1989 as a non-profit educational institution offering a four-year Master's degree in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, a community teaching clinic and continuing education for practicing professionals. The University is approved by the California Acupuncture Board and accredited by the Accreditation Commission on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), and currently has over 120 students enrolled from around the country and the world.
