To all who read this I want to share with you my love affair with my hometown, Pasadena, California. I am 27 and serve in the United States Navy and am stationed at Naval Air Station, North Island. I am a graduate of the

PASADENA HIGH SCHOOL, CLASS OF 1989, GO BIG RED !!!!!!!

I was born in Los Angeles and raised in Pasadena. Pasadena in the early 1980's still had the old hometown feel about it. Yes, we have our problems, but there is no other community that I can think of that can match Pasadena's diversity and community unity.
Here are some personal facts about Pasadena, that I share with my shipmates in San Diego... I hope you enjoy.....

Finest Unified Community School Distrcit in Los Angeles County

FINEST ORANGE GROVE BLVD
Formerly known as Millionaires Row due to all the mansions that lined the street at the beginning of this century

POLICE - Pride of Southern California
Little red helicopters protecting the Crown of the Valley

TOURNAMENT OF ROSES - Put Pasadena on the map
I often ask out-of-state sailors if they have ever watched the Tournament of Roses and they all say yes!

Best City Services of any community I visited or lived in.
