Attractions
Paul Bunyan Mountain Festival and Blues Festival
held every year in July. Logging show, Paul Bunyan's home tour, music, arts and crafts, parade, picnic and children's carnival. The town has a 24 foot statue of the legendary logger on display all year.

Oktoberfest
October Festivities each year include authentic German dinner, beer and wine tasting and music, Volksmarch to Mt. Meadow Reservoir.
Skiing at Stover Mountain
Lassen Emigrant Trail
Hwy 36 (P.M. 0.3), 2.5 mi W of Westwood
Emigrants and gold seekers came over the Lassen Trail from 1848 - 1851.
Lassen Volcanic National Park
There are a number of different geothermal features at this park, including: bubbling mud pots, steaming fumaroles and boiling springs along with forests, meadows, streams, lakes and waterfalls. Mt Lassen erupted in 1915 after a year of volcanic activity and the park opened in 1916.
Bizz Johnson Trail
A 30 mile trail between Susanville and Westwood. Take Richmond road to South St. in to Hobo Camp. Parking and picnic areas are available.
