Open year round. Open daily 9:30 am. Located in Balboa Park. The world's first OMNIMAX theater/planetarium featuring IMAX films that surround audiences creating a "you are there" sensation. The Science Center contains hands-on exhibits that demonstrate the laws of physical science. Science Center admission is free the first Tuesday of each month.
