Pat Simmons was voted the "Best Country Act" by Weekly Planet Magazine in their annual "Best of the Bay" edition for 1999. The article mentions he is from Dover and that his CD is "Till Time is Through."

Looking for story of massacre
I was told that my great grandfather and two of his sons were massacred in Dover by Indians around 1855. There was an article written about it again in 1955 in the Tampa Tribune. Please let me know if you have any information on the massacre. My great grandfather's name was John Starling. I was also told that they were transporting guns to the military. I would like to know where they are buried and all dates that you may have on them. I am working on my family tree for my sons and grandson and would like to take them to the area and grave sites of my family. Please help me on this matter if you can.
