Clarence, Iowa Historical Events

1800's
The Rigby's grew up in Clarence, Iowa in 1800s, with Archie E. Rigby, my mother's father, attending school in Clarence. In the archives retained by Stella M. Rigby Hallett, my mother, are several pictures of the High School Class of 1890.
Some of the names:
Lallie Anderson, Maggie Greig, Nettie Anderson, Wilbur Larrig?, Chas simpson, Harry B. Acott, Don Noel of Rockwell City, E.S. Fox of Lake City, Annabel McFadden of Winthrop, Sadie Story of Epworth and Chas. E. Elijah who died 16 Jan 1890
There are several other photos without names. The formal pictures are a result of at least 3 photo labs: i.e. Elite Studio, (Brandenburg - artist) of Tipton, IA; Smith Photo of Clarence, IA; Hurds Photo of Clarence, IA. It just may happen there are persons interested in these photographs, which are of historical significance to those families having lived in the area over the years.
If anyone is interested in these photos, please contact me by email
regards: Ed Hallett
