Home of Kid's City playground. Has been featured on local news stations (kwwl) as a weather reporting station. Was built by volunteers using strictly donations. One of the nicest and largest playgrounds in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls metro areas.
City is celebrating its 50th anniversary the summer of 2001. The Celebration will be held 14th and 15th of July in Mayor's park in Elk Run Heights. We will have a Bar-b-que, sing a long, games, activities and campfire in the evening
