Lawler Historical Events
Late 1800's
My grandparents came from Lawler. He was Joseph Daniel Hand and
she was [Gertrude?] Magdalena Martin. They married and moved to
Delmont, South Dakota in 1902. According to them, Lawler was known
as "Frog Hollow" originally. Also, the first school there was called
the "Toonerville Academy" (or something like that). If anyone can confirm this information, please
