The Malvern Library is an "Andrew Carnegie" building established in 1917 on the mainstreet in downtown Malvern, Iowa. There is a major fundraising effort going on to enlarge the building to make it more user friendly and a center for the local residents. The "Friends of the Library" is an active fundraising group helping with funding for short and long range goals. Their latest endeavor is the presentation of prints from a local artist "Felix Summers". These nostalgic prints depict life in Malvern in the 1940's, 50's and 60's. Information on obtaining these prints, and cards is available if you contact the library.
