Summers in Midvale
I cannot believe that I actually found Midvale Idaho online!!! My name is Debi Sycks. I was related to Granny Hazel Wiggins. That's was My Grandma, and my mother is Betty Ann Welch Fisher. I used to go to Midvale every summer and spend a lot of fun times there.
I remember fond memories of Midvale. I remember when my Uncle Lee and Aunt Beaulah was alive, that was great times. I bet that Midvale hasn't changed a bit. It sounds like the town has gotten smaller... Someday when I go visit my Uncle Kermit Wiggins in Cambrige, I will stop by and see who's still living there.

Independence Day Celebration
Place: At Midvale High School. Just across the bridge in the
middle of town.
We have a parade beginning at 11:00 a.m. on main street. The parade
goes through downtown, over the bridge and ends at the school.
Visitors and spectators from there may enter the school and enjoy
home-cooked food at our community barbecue. The Antique Tractor Pull
begins behind the school at 2:00 p.m. The length of the tractor pull
depends on how many entries we receive. All proceeds from the barbecue
go to the Midvale Swimming Pool Committee. All proceeds from the
tractor pull go to the Midvale Volunteer Fire Department.
If you own a tractor circa 1950 or older and wish to
participate in the Antique Tractor Pull, please call (208) 355-2315 and
ask for Harmon or Terry Horton. Or email us at
thhorton@ruralnetwork.net. If you choose to email us, be sure that the subject says "Tractor Pull Information." Thank you!
