Although the smallest public school district in DuPage County, the Lisle schools have been a leader in educational innovation, small class sizes, academic honors, and unlimited opportunities for its students. Of special note are the state-of-the-art technology centers at the junior and senior high schools. The first of their kind in Illinois, they introduce robotics, laser technology, aeronautical engineering, biomedical technology, electronic media production, and applied physics to students as early as 6th grade. Among other honors, Lisle has earned in the midwest in mathematics competition and fourth in the nation in mathematics.
