Centerville Fire Department
Email
For over 161 years the members of the Centerville Fire Department have been protecting the lives and property of the citizens of Centerville. The Centerville Fire Department was established in 1840, since that time we have become a leader in fire/rescue operations within Wayne County Indiana. We are located near the Indiana/Ohio border along Interstate 70. The population of Center Township is approximately 3,500 people. Our response area covers 44 square miles, with mostly residential and light commercial structures. The area is protected by 25 active members, 4 reserve members, 6 Cadets, and 16 auxiliary members. We answer both Fire and EMS calls out of one station. We train and prepare for many different emergencies and hope that we never have to respond, but when called upon we will be there to protect the lives of those who depend on us.
