50th Wedding Anniversary
Rev. Howard Theodore Smith Lorman, MS and Mrs. Ruby "Etoye" Etaw Nichols Smith Decatur & Meridian, MS will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, June 7, 2003
in East Chicago, IN.
Their nine daughters who live in East Chicago, Indianapolis, and Muncie, IN; Louisville, KY; Dallas, TX, Sierra Vista, AZ, and Bosnia - are extending an open invitation to anyone who remembers "Etoye" or has met her husband and children to drop a line of congratulations to their parents.
Rev. & Sis. Smith have lived in East Chicago since their marriage in Meridian on June 7, 1953. Rev. Smith attended Alcorn prior to serving in the Army. He pastors the New Starlight Missionary Baptist Church of East Chicago, IN. Sis. Smith worked in a variety of capacities including child care and nursing home activities. Growing up in Decatur, she attended Midway Baptist Church. In Meridian she attended New Hope Baptist Church and graduated from the former T.J. Harris Sr. High School.
