Good History books for Fort Wayne!
at Allen County Public Library
There are some very good books to look at and read if you are interested in history of Fort Wayne.
The first - "Fort Wayne, Indiana - A Presentation of her Resources, Achievements and Possibilities."
This book is published by the Fort Wayne News and compiled by H.W. Gardner, dated 1913!

The second is a book with mostly photos entitled: "Photo-gravures of Fort Wayne." F.H. Smith is the publisher. It is dated in 1889. Both books have much information about Fort Wayne which should be used by the community! It is sad some many of these buildings have been torn down. Thanks goodness for these books and their photographs so the images may be preserved.
