My Grandmother
My grandmother was a Taylor, daughter of Thomas Jefferson
Taylor, founder of the neighborhood. My grandmother always referred
to him as "a gentleman farmer." I know he made two "fortunes" (he
owned a dept. store) one last in the panic of, I think, 1879. She
was always a lady and I miss her very much. The brick house is still
standing and would love to see it. I know a cousin of mine toured
the home about a decade ago. Grandma's Mother was a "Timberlake" and
she married "robert d. morse @1915
