Wilmore Community News

Any one left in Wilmore that knew Etta and Oscar Pinkston?
Mother of Alvin and Cleo Pinkston. Moved to California in the late 1930's, but Cleo and Alvin went to Wilmore High School. I think there were about 12 people in Cleo's Senior class. I am his oldest daughter and would love to hear anything about Wilmore. What's it like living in a town of 78. I live in South Orange County, California in a small community of about 50,000 + which is very small in comparison to the surrounding areas. I loved to hear from any one who knew my dad or his family. He passed away in 1978 - too soon. Uncle Al also passed away but between the two of them they had 13 children and who knows how many grandchildren. Al's wife Jean is still living and doing great in Missouri and Pink's (Cleo) wife is now 81 years old and doing great. I'm sure I must have some relatives still back there somewhere. Logans are on my grandmother's side. Hope to hear from someone soon.
