Loyall history:

Loyall was known as Shonn when the first post office opened in 1922. Shonn appears to have been a local word for a rail siding. Before the Post office opened, it was just a little town surrounding a railroad switch yard. It was renamed as Loyall in 1932, possibly for one of the railroad company officials
