Ringgold has one of the finest Police Departments in the Parish of Bienville. The total
law enforcement personnel is seven. All officers are trained by a certified institute within
this state. The Chief of Police is Mr. Jack Bussy (1999) . Chief Bussy has done a fine job of
building the police force from one officer to seven and has been a leader in the
community for over 15 years. Crime in Rinngold is on the drop due to policies of Chief
Bussy.
