Monday August 1, 2016 - Women With Two Children Shot And Killed After She Threatened Police, and Shot At Them. Korryn Gaines and her two children were in their apartment when police arrived to serve her a warrant for a previous traffic ticket. Originally she refused to open the door. Police were able to get a key, but when they got in, the woman pointed a gun at them. She also threatened the police. After an hour or so of negotiation the police fired one shot. The woman returned a barrage of shots with threats. The police then returned fire killing her. One of the children, a 5 year old boy was injured and taken to the hospital.
