The founding of Rogers City: 1871 Rogers City attractions: The Rogers City Municipal Marina has almost 100 slips, most of which are floating docks. There is a fishing platform on the east wall for fishing from the breakwalls. Here is a map of the harbor with other harbor information listed also. Rogers City has the largest limestone quarry in the world. Due to the quarry's location, the world's largest limestone processing plant is also located here, helping make the city one of the Great Lakes major ports. P. H.
