Attractions

Prairie Pioneer Days
held the 2nd weekend in July, brings together the community. It features an arts and crafts show, a 5K run and other entertainment.

Morris is the home of the University of Minnesota-Morris, a four year liberal arts college. UMM is often called the "jewel" of the University system.

Morris is also home for the Stevens County Medical Center and hospital. Services include a hospice center known as the Courage Cottage. The area is primarily agricultural, especially known for the raising of beef and pork.

Miss Midwest, part of the Miss American pageant system, is crowned in Morris.
