Amsterdam Volunteer Fire Department
the city of Amsterdam has a volunteer fire dept. located on the south side of Main St. at the west end of town. The city vehicles consist of 2 engine pumpers, 1-4x4 brush truck, 1-2x4 brush truck, and 1 command vehicle. there are currently 13 volunteers on the dept. and they are all dedicated to the safety and well being of our city and surrounding communities. you can e-mail the city fire dept. at mofirechief@yahoo.com

Place: Main Street in Amsterdam
Time: 10:00am
Sponsored by: Amsterdam city jubilee committee
the city of amsterdam's jubilee kicks off with a parade at 10am sharp. with festivities continuing throughout the evening. games, prizes, float contest and etc. starting at noon the mud-a-thon begins with entries from all over surrounding states. and to top off the evening with a street dance and barbeque. for information on all events phone the jubilee committee at 660-267-3627
