15 October 2001A Note from Sarah
I was in London, England for one month for the navy reserves, and no more than 2 weeks after my return, I found out that I have been recalled to active duty. I am on my way back to London for a one year tour. I was on my way back to the states on Sept. 11th when we got word of the attack on New York. Our plane with 200 passengers was diverted to Newfoundland, Canada, where we remained in a Salvation Army church for 6 days. 2 weeks later I find out that I have to return to England. Needless to say, it came as a shock to me. I don't know that I am ready to get on another airplane, but I guess I will have to. I just wanted any friends in Ava to be aware of where I am going.
