It was cleared out in the past and began being used for extensive farming. Our city used to have a very small jell cell, a saloon, dirt main street, old market, and other places to make Holcomb seem to appear "western." Now transforming, you may still see a preserved past with old building left behind or even still used. Holcomb attractions: We are a very small community in the bootheel of Missouri. Everybody is very friendly. This town seems to be quite and peaceful. Our crime rate is very low and we have two police officers - one day and one night. We focus our town around our school. We have one of the top three schools in Missouri. Over one third of our high school students are honor students. The only achieving businesses in Holcomb are our gas station, called "The Junction," and 2 restaurants. Return to Index
