History & History-related items
Willard E. Winner came here in 1883 to create his vision of a city and a bridge. He began to build both, laying out lots and buildings. Before people came here, North Kansas City was planned out, had homes built, had streets built, a water system in place and parks made. Planned for success, North Kansas city was incorporated as a town on 4 November 1912.
