History & History Related Items Bunn history: Bunn is named for Green Walker Bunn who first settled in the area just outside of what is now Bunn. After the Montgomery Lumber Company extended the railroad to Bunn from Spring Hope, they created a town near the new rails which eventually became Bunn.
