The Iredell Museum of Arts and Heritage is located in a 100 year old restored pumping station, the original water pumping station for the town of Statesville, NC. The museum houses a large collection of art and artifacts, including a 3000 year old mummy! There are also nature trails, and a heritage site with 18th century log cabins, a barn, and smokehouse, where re-enactments are held, and many school children get a taste of colonial North Carolina. Special events and exhibitions during the year feature many local artists as well as visiting artists. Memberships are available for seniors, students and families. Join us!
