1913, 15 DecemberThe beginning of Farmers Days
As everyone knows, agriculture and farming has many ups and downs and is greatly dependent on the weather. During one of those down times, the merchants of Kimball decided to show their appreciation for the farmers of the area by sponsoring the first annual Farmers Day. Free meals were served to the farmers and their families. The annual tradition has grown every year and now includes a parade, band concert, games, dance, and free food!
