Trenton Nebraska is near Swanson Lake and Trenton Dam. It is also one of the sites of the last Indian battles between the Sioux and Pawnee. The battle was called the Massacre Canyon battle which there is a Monument standing in remembrance to it east of town. A Dinosaur remains was found near there recently.
