A 220-foot long and 30-foot high mural called the Whaling Wall, painted by world renowned environmental artist Wyland, can be viewed at Garfield Avenue and the Boardwalk
The Wildwoods have been called the Mecca of the kiting world. The Wildwoods International Kite Festival, held each Memorial Day Weekend, brings world-renowned kite flyers and makers. The world's largest and smallest kites have both appeared here. (see many more facts on this fun facts page)

Wildwood is home to the National Marbles Hall of Fame, housed in the Boyer Museum at 3907 Pacific Avenue. Memorabilia from 77 years of the National Marbles Tournament is displayed
