Ridgewood Organizations And Clubs

The Ridgewood Soccer Association(RSA) is the master umbrella organization charged with bringing soccer to all levels of residents in the Village of Ridgewood. The RSA is an independent, non-affiliated soccer organization.
Under the direction of Richard Bennett (High School Boys Varsity), Jim Ross (High School Boys Varsity / Elementary Sports Ed) and John Braden (High School Soccer Referee / Club Coach), the RSA introduced and pioneered the small sided soccer game in the north east with over 10 years of small sided experience. Ed Seavers subsequently championed small sided games for Club play. Over 1500 participants on over 96 recreational and 40 club teams are involved in both small sided and full sided programs. The following represents an overview of the Village organization:

In-Town Recreation (Divisions 6 thru 3)
Inter-town Travel (NWBSA affiliate, Divisions 5 thru 3)
In-Town Special Needs Program
Ridgewood Maroons (Incorporated separately)
Inter-Town Club (NJYSA/NC affiliate, Divisions 6 thru 2)
Ridgewood Mens Club
Inter-Town Club (Div 1 and Over 40 program)
