Attractions

The Village of Greenwood Lake is located at the northern end of the nine mile long and one mile wide Greenwood Lake. Numerous marinas, waterfront restaurants, and nightclubs surround the lake. In the summer, sailboats, power boats, water skiiers and jet skiiers abound. In the winter, cross-country skiing, ice skating and snowmobiling are highlights. The Appalachian Trail runs along the western ridge of the lake and two trailheads are located within walking distance of the Village. The 15,000 acre Sterling Forest State Park is located adjacent to the Village.
