North Patchogue City Government
The North Patchogue Volunteer Fire Department provides fire suppression
and emergency medical services to the community. In the calendar year,
1998, they responded to 603 fire calls and 1,354 ambulance calls. They
have three stations - Station one on Davidson Ave. - Station two on Old
North Ocean Ave. - and Station three on Thicket Road. Their specialized
equipment includes a 95 foot tower ladder, heavy rescue unit, brush
truck, scuba team and a medical first responder. NPFD is very active in
fire safety and fire prevention within the community and schools. The
NPFD provides 24 hour trained dispatchers. For further information or to
