Delaware children attend schools in the Delaware City School District. The district has four elementary schools, a middle school and a high school. New schools are being built and others undergoing renovation. Special programs include: K-12 enrichment for students with outstanding abilities, the Tech Prep Program for hands-on learning, the Expanded Options Program for those seeking an alternative high school curriculum. A special child care program for children in K-8 is available.
