Hamden Heritage FestivalThe Hamden Firefighters Association sponsors the Hamden Heritage Festival each year the weekend following Memorial day.
A street festival with free live entertainment also has food booths, craft displays and rides and games for all ages. The festival begins Thursday evening and ends on Sunday evening. A parade is held on Sunday afternoon after which the Queen and Jr. Queen are announced.
