The Eldean Bridge, about 2 miles north of Troy, was built in 1860 and is 223 feet long. It crosses the Great Miami River and is a good example of the long-type truss bridge.
Many of the buildings in the public square are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Of particular interest if the Miami County Courthouse with five domes and many frescoes.

The Strawberry Festival - held the first full weekend in June each year
The Miami County Fair - in Mid-August each year.

2.5 miles southwest on SR 55, then follow signs.

There are 165 acres in this nature preserve which has a swamp, a prairie, pine forest, flood plain, hardwood forest and the Stillwater River. Among the features are: hiking trails, an amphitheater on a pond and more. See a restored 1804 log house.

The former home of Mary Jane Harter Coleman Hayner, who collect items during her extensive travels. The house was built in 1914 and has been restored. All the objects are on display as well as other items. The home is used for exhibits, seminars, and more.
