Attractions

Bluejacket used to be one of the biggest cities in Oklahoma, but then a tornado came through and now we only have a gas-station, firestation, garage and a school. Our gas-station is the place where everyone hangs out now. Our town is very small and everyone knows everyone but it is how our city comes together. I (and lots of other people) wouldn't have it any other way!!

I am researching a violin which was made in 1893, and marked Cherokee Chieftan, Blue Jacket Station, Cherokee Nation. The instrument was made by W.A.Money. Blue Jacket Station became BlueJacket at some later time. I would like to find any historical reference to this man and to his lineage and information to the art of violin making in such an unlikely spot as BlueJacket Station while it was still part of the Cherokee Nation.
