Checotah Historical Events

1905, October 15
Marriage of Joseph George Harry and Clara Belle Rountree. J. George Harry worked for the Sayings in Wagoner starting as a "devil" and working up to "foreman". They were married in the brides home Sunday morning and returned that evening to Wagoner. J. George Harry also played with the Lord's Military Band (whatever that was). The wedding notice was published by " The Record"
