2002, May 24-26
Centennial Celebration
Custer City will be 100 years old in 2002. We are celebrating our birthday, May 24, 25 & 26, 2002. Friday night will be our Little Miss Custer City Contest & car show at the city park. We will have a parade at 10:00 am Saturday, May 25, 2002, followed by lunch, former school members singing, children's games, concert, & street dance. We will have food and craft vendors all day Saturday. Sunday will be ceremonies at the Masonic Cemetery. We are also constructing a Centennial Park with a commemorative brick wall.
