Erick Community Events
November each year -
The Erick Honey Festival
Time: All day
Sponsored by: The town of Erick, Oklahoma
The Erick local Honey Festival is a fun and educational source held in November by the town and surrounding towns of Erick. In the "New" gym we set up booths for face-painting, arts-and-crafts, jewelry, sand art, and many other things! In the cafeteria the TSA group and others serve food for a small charge, and usually free refills. There are Indian tacos, pizza, hamburgers, hotdogs, and pop. But every year the food varies. You can also go out the Honey Farm 2-3 miles out of town and get a hamburger from on of the most famous cooks in our area, Willy. You can get a Willy Burger for $ 2.00, with everything on it. There are also music acts and comedy skits from the Elementary students and surrounding towns. The radio station KQ-106
covers it live.
