Attractions

The High School and Grade Schools shut down in 1967 or 1968 due to the diminishing population.

Gerty has one cemetery located about 1 mile east of town.

The nearest large body of water is Holdenville Lake (about 20 miles north).

There is a very "tasty" restaurant about 3 or 4 miles south of Gerty on highway 75. It's called "Toot's Barbecue" and is pretty well known in the area for having some of the best barbecue around. Anyone traveling on highway 75 (to or from Dalls)that likes barbecue should stop in. It's been there ever since I can remember (at least 30 years).
