1952
Shri Meher Baba, world famous Guru and Saint, had a very serious automobile accident just outside of Prague. Concerning this accident, Meher Baba said that it had great significance to all the world and especially America. Meher Baba, who had been keeping a self imposed vow of silence since 1925, never uttered a sound during this incident even though he received very serious injuries that resulted in several weeks in the hospital. This event has important significance to the followers of Meher Baba throughout the world (which number in the tens of thousands).
