Tuttle, Oklahoma was named for rancher JAMES H. TUTTLE. James H.
was born in Grayson County, Texas and his father's name was J.H. TUTTLE, who
was from Alabama. James H. was married twice, 1st wife was Nora Bond, and his
2nd wife was Carrie Campbell. Tuttle post office was established in 1902.
