Attractions

Area lakes include Lake Burtschi, a good fishing lake. Lake Burtschi is located approximately eight miles south of Verden on US Hwy. 92. Verden is the primary gateway to Lake Chickasha, which is located five miles northwest of Verden in Caddo County. Lake Chickasha is the City Of Chickasha's municipal lake and attracts many tourists with its fishing, camping and hunting facilities. The lake also offers year-round housing and seasonal facilities.
